Exhale

Exhale, consists of seven black and white underwater photos which explore the emotional release upon entering a body of water. The work builds a narrative to represent the liberating and tranquil feelings of being underwater within the surreal atmosphere of light and movement combined. It expresses the duality of the figure placed within the underwater landscape and the state of being transformed. 

Reflection:

Upon reflection, this project explores the ideation of escaping reality and entering another dimension. With the combination of dreamlike movements and the penetration of light, this collection enables me to dive into a reflective state of mind exploring intimate relationships. Each image conveys the emotions of both parties and highlights the stages in which people experience within a relationship.
